For the first time in 20 years, D.C. sports fans have moved beyond cautious optimism and are now enjoying a wellspring of hope that a professional sports title may be coming back to the nation’s capital. In anticipation of a win tonight against the Tampa Bay Lightning in game 7 of the conference finals, Mayor Zoldos has mapped out a resolution that would not only propose a temporary name change from Lovettsville to “Capitalsville,” but also launch a multi-faceted public relations campaign to make northern Loudoun County Capitals HQ for the remainder of the Stanley Cup Finals.
